Research Of Urban Road Greenbelts Lighting Design Method In Urban Center

With the continuous improvement of people's aesthetic demand and the pursuit of high quality life,urban center area is no longer satisfied with the basic function lighting.The designers begin to focus on the architectural landscape lighting and plants landscape lighting to promote the nightscape lighting effect of city.After the continuous construction during these years,architectural landscape lighting has been continuously improved,more and more leadership and designers gradually move their attention to some other landscape elements outside buildings,regard the road greenbelts as the important media of urban street environment,and try to improve the nightscape effect by different design proposal.However,there still have no relevant systematic design specification,practices are still of blindness,so it's high time for us to do some research about the lighting design methods of road greenbelts in urban center.According to the “Code for Planting Planning and Design on Urban Road CJJ 75”in China,the urban road greenbelts consist of the dividing greenbelts,street tree greenbelts and roadside greenbelts,which has a wide range of lighting application requirements.However,the designers have not paid enough attention to greenbelts lighting design,and the visual effect still has a lot of problems.For example,the landscape lighting effect is lack of good performance,the visual effect is lack of comfortable safe feeling,and the luminance contrast is also lack of certain index control.This article focuses on the discussion about the road greenbelts in urban center.Based on the preliminary study,spot investigation,simulation and evaluation,and analysis and summary,this article try to do some research about the road greenbelts lighting design methods and its visual effect.For the greenbelts of different road grades and different road character,we first analysis and summary the classification and planning pattern,the main plant species and common combinations,the commonly lighting methods of urban road greenbelts,and generalize the typical scenario and typical lighting methods for simulation.Then we simulate different lighting scenarios by DIALux Evo,simulate lighting effects of different lighting methods,and explore the influence of luminance contrast and lighting methods selection on visual effect by subjective assessment,conclude the luminance contrast index and lighting methods selection,which shows good landscape lighting effects and comfortable visual safety feeling.Finally,we propound the design process and recommended guidelines of road greenbelts lighting design methods in urban city area,content involves the road partition control,current situation of road greenbelts,nightscape lighting control requirements,nightscape atmosphere control,lighting colors selection,lighting methods selection,lighting methods combinations,luminance contrast control,special design of road intersection,lighting source species,lamps selection,and lamps setting,which providing certain basis and reference for project practices in the future.
