Design And Implementation Of Centralized Control System For LED Screen On Large Bus Station

Along with the continuous acceleration of socialist modernization construction in our country,especially the rapid progress and development of national economy,people's living standards and social patterns since the National Twelfth Five-year Plan.Just as the constantly improving of people living standard,the level of urban public transport service is also being improved continuously.The demand of people for public transport has been raised from “have a bus to sit” in the 1980 s to have a diversified demand such as safe,comfortable,convenient,punctual and so on.At the same time,because of the development of information technology at tremendous speed,so lots of urban public transport operation units have their own scheduling command of information.The vehicle operating date generated by system serves not only the enterprise internal scheduling operation and management,but also can provide passengers real-time information by using phone APP.Besides,LED screen control system in the large bus station is also the extension for public transport intelligent scheduling operation system,further provides more humanized bus services for the majority of passengers.LED central control system is.Net and database technology,and achieved the management for local or remote of static message(route,hours for first and final vehicle,etc.)dynamic news(message of actual time for depart)follow the scheduling system of communication protocols from scheduling system,and screen control function control is based on the LED card manufacturers who already provided secondary development packages.The communication part of the whole system are implemented by all using fiber cable and Ethernet.Those greatly improve the flexibility and security of the system,and avoid the possibility of a single node failure to cause the entire network failure.During the design process,the safety of the public information system was also considered besides the basic function such as communications and transport.Due to the vulnerable security of some hardware and software product itself,we have done related designs in safety and prevention to improve the overall security of the system.Through the centralized management for LED screens in the bus stations,and well cooperted with the intelligent scheduling system,makes the LED screens in the bus stations not only publish the regular route information,and remind the actual vehicle trips,those are greatly improved the passengers riding experience.
