As a kind of solid lubrication material,the MoS2 is applied on space moving parts and makes space moving parts greatly prolongs their service lifetime,and the reliability can be improved.The Magnesium silicate hydroxide?MSH?as lubricant additive has a good effect on anti-friction,wear resistance and self-repairing.In this paper,the synthetic magnesium silicate hydroxide was doped into the MoS2 solid lubricating film,and the prepared composite solid lubricating film was characterized and evaluated on tribological performance and studied on lifetime extension mechanism.In this paper,MoS2 composite solid lubricating film was prepared by a bonding method.Preparation process and process parameters,such as doping materials?adhesives?matrix material.matrix hardness?matrix surface roughness and synthesis time of magnesium silicate hydroxide etc,were studied.It was showed that the prepared composite solid lubricating film had the longest friction lifetime when process parameters were chosen properly.For example,magnesium silicate hydroxide with synthetic time of 12h was chosen as doping material,epoxy resin was chosen as adhesive,12Gr steel and 45 steel was chosen as matrix material of the top specimen and the lower specimen,HRC58 and HRC40 was chosen as hardness of the top specimen and the lower specimen,Ra0.0304 and Ra0.0376 was chosen as surface roughness of the top specimen and the lower specimen.Tribological characterization of the composite solid lubricating film showed that film thickness was uniform and stable,the surface of the composite solid lubricating film was flat,and various indexes of the characterization were in accordance with the requirements of relevant standards.The influence of working factors,such as time?lubrication state?load?speed etc,on tribological properties of the composite solid lubricating film was studied.And the relative relationship between the four factors,such as load.rotational speed.the proportion of the content of magnesium silicate hydroxide and the friction lifetime,was discussed.It was showed that the wear lifetime of the composite solid lubricating film was prolonged under different working conditions,compared with pure MoS2 solid lubricating film.Under 900N and 400rpm conditions,the life of M20 composite solid lubricating film was prolonged by 420.79%.And the effect would be more obvious and better when the working conditions were worse.Besides,there is an optimal proportion of the content of magnesium silicate hydroxide under certain working condition.In this paper,synthetic nano magnesium silicate hydroxide was doped into MoS2 composite solid lubricating film innovatively.Tribological properties and mechanism of prolonging the lifetime of MoS2 composite solid lubricating film prepared by doping synthetic nano magnesium silicate hydroxide was studied comprehensively,which provided experimental and theoretical support for prolonging the service lifetime of space moving parts.
