Simple pedestrian suspension bridge gains favor with its beautiful appearance,simple structure,the clear force and low cost characteristics.The adaptability to the geology and landform is very strong,and give full display of the characteristics of high drawn intensity of cable wire with high strength.It is not required to build high tower and be able to set up the big span bridge.Pedestrian suspension bridge has a good application prospect,so it is widely used in mountain area and tourist attractions.But it is lack of deep and systematic study to this kind of the pedestrian suspension bridge in China,it is necessary to consummate the simple pedestrian suspension bridge design specifications.This paper is based on the existing pedestrian suspension bridge research results.Firstly,we discuss the basic theory of suspension bridge,the basic knowledge of parametric modeling and optimization design theory.By using the ANSYS parametric design language APDL we can set up Yong Xi pedestrian suspension bridge's finite element model for the optimization design of the suspension bridge.This paper uses Yong Xi pedestrian suspension bridge as the engineering background,changing some important parameters affecting stress characteristics of pedestrian suspension bridge,such as the ratio of rise to span,the constrained way of tower and the beam,the ratio of span,the size of the glass.We use them calculate and analyze static and dynamic to better understand the characteristics of pedestrian suspension bridge.The common regularity which can be used to guide the design is obtained.Analysis of advantages and disadvantages of reinforced concrete,glass,steel material.Based on the Swiss standard analysis Yong Xi Bridge whether comfortable degree is suitable.We use strong nonlinear finite element analysis and optimization design function of large general software ANSYS,and the optimization method of continuous design variables to optimize the suspension bridge with reasonable method.The objective function is the minimum of main girder deformation when the suspension bridge is under dead load.We use zero order method and then first order method to get a more accurate results.Through the above analysis,we carry on optimization analysis after comparing state,including the static and dynamic analysis,and we make pedestrian suspension bridge a better state.
