Research And Implementation Of Product Design Process Based On Product Platform

With the development of technology and improvement of people's living standard,the customer demand for personalized products is getting higher and higher,which intensifies the competition among enterprises and makes the product life cycle become shorter and shorter.Mass customization(MC)production mode is an effective way to solve the contradiction between mass product and individual demand,which is becoming the key to ensure the competitiveness of enterprises.The strategy of product design based on product platform is a kind of important method oriented to mass customization design.Through the construction of product platform and the development of product family on the basis of product platform,the strategy can satisfy customers' individuation with high quality and low cost of products.The product design process based on the modular product platform is studied,and relevant function modules are developed in this paper,which has important significance to improve the product development capability of enterprises.Firstly,the classification of product platform and the development method are studied,and then the constitution model of modular product platform which is viewed as the research object of this paper is analyzed.At the same time,the product design flow based on modular product platform is put forward,which provides the theoretical guidance for enterprise to build the product platform and realize the product development process.Secondly,the configuration process based on modular product platform is studied in detail.Based on the theory of Generic Bill of Material(GBOM),the method of establishing the main structure of product platform based on the improved GBOM is proposed.The complex constraint relations in the main structure of product platform are analyzed and expressed.Based on the above research,the product configuration process model for multilevel platform is established.Thirdly,according to the analysis of the design process and design methods of variant product,the classification methods and selection principles of parameters in the process of variant design are proposed,and the parameters transfer method of variant product based on DSM is put forward.The transfer structure model between tabular layouts of variant product is established and furthermore,the variant instance generation process driven by tabular layouts which supported by PDM system is studied.Finally,on the basis of the above research,the function module about product design process based on product platform is implemented combining the functions and characteristics of Inforcenter system which developed by China Hoteam Software.
