The integrated power system of substation generally consists of multiple independent and decentralized equipment. The communication protocols between different departments are incompatible. To date, the existing integrated power monitoring system has several disadvantages, including the incomplete monitoring information, the non-shared data, etc., leading to difficulty of meeting with the characteristics of intelligence, networking and shared information for the intelligent substation.To address the above-mentioned problems, this thesis is devoted to design an online monitoring system of integrated power system for the intelligent substation. The system is mainly composed of the human-computer interaction interface, all-in-one machine with industrial control and IEC61850 protocol conversion. Among them, the human-computer interaction interface realizes the accurate, comprehensive and real-time online monitoring for integrated power system by raphics, digital, curve and so on. The all-in-one machine with industrial control is equipped with RS485, RS232,Ethernet communication interface, etc. RS485 and RS232 interface are mainly used to not only realize the unified acquisition of the equipment running status information, but also transfer the control information from monitoring platforms to equipment. Ethernet interface is mainly used to implement communication with remote intelligent substation.IEC61850 transformation protocol converts protocols, such as MODBUS protocol,CAN bus protocol, etc, to IEC61850 standard communication protocols, consequently realizing the seamless connection between the integrated power system and the intelligent substation. Additionlly, the problem of compatibility among the integrated power devices can be effectively solved and thus the automation level of the integrated power system will be improved to some extent.Based on the above desired functions of the monitoring system, the main works of this thesis are as follows:(1) The human-computer interaction interface is designed using C++ language under the QT development environment. It mainly contains five interface including the wiring diagram of integrated power system, energy storage BMS information, battery monomer information, inverter information, and historical database information. The human-computer interaction interface can perform real-time monitoring, on-line operation and control, user management, etc.(2) The function of integrated power system is analyzed to determine the LN of IED information model for each subsystem. The DO and DA of each LN are designed.Then the IED information model for integrated power will be accomplished so as to realize the standardization of data information for integrated power system.(3) Study of the MODBUS, CAN bus, IEC61850 protocol. Not only the data parsing of MODBUS and CAN bus protocol but also the IEC61850 protocol conversion can be implemented through the software modular programming.
