With the rapid development of regional rail transit,a higher requirement for the line capacity of intercity trains is put forward.In order to achieve the goal of public transport operation and shorten station dwell time,it is necessary to study how to improve the efficiency of boarding and alighting.Boarding and alighting happens in the human-vehicle-platform system,which is affected by the passenger property,the vehicle attribute and the layout of platform.Most of the previous studies focus on the effect of platform layout and factors between platform and carriage.There are few studies about the layout of compartment.As the initial point of alighting and the target of boarding,compartment' layout has important influence on boarding and alighting.This paper studies the influence of intercity train compartment layout on boarding and alighting and the main work is as follows:(1)By investigating 81 kinds of intercity train models at home and abroad,the intercity train compartment layout features are summarized.Based on the relationship between the layout of compartment and the behaviour of passengers,we selected the width of the door,the area of the hall,the width of the channel,the arrangement of the seats and the position of the vertical handrail as research objects.Then the range of research objects are determined by ergonomics standards and the layout of the existing intercity compartments.(2)We chose the Beijing airport linear motor vehicle as the survey object which has high homogeneity with intercity trains and Dongzhimen station as the investigation site.Secondly,and used LEGION to build passenger boarding and alighting models and output the simulation results.By comparing actual data and simulation data,the feasibility of method is verified.(3)Aiming at the intercity train which was designed by CRRC TANGSHAN Co.Ltd,We did a series of simulation experiments to study the effect of single layout factors on boarding and alighting efficiency under the conditon that passengers flow ratio is 1:1.The experimental results show that door width's variation have an effect on the efficiency of boarding and alighting,so does the width of the entrance hall or the width of the channel.When the total space of the seats is fixed,the arrangement of the seats won't affect boarding and alighting efficiency and the change of the vertical handrail position has no significant effect on boarding and alighting efficiency.According to the experiment results the multiplicative efficiency curves of different spatial factors were given.(4)The three factor and three level orthogonal experiment method was used to study the boarding and alighting efficiency under different space parameters.The experimental data was analysed by range analysis method.Result shows that sequence of these factors affecting the total boarding and alighting time is the width of the channel,the width of the hall and the width of the door.Then space layout principles are given accordingly.
