| Tribology is a comprehensive subject that studied on the basic theory and relative motion.It is described the friction,lubrication and wear of the interacting surfaces and the relationship between the three factors.The research object is very extensive,such as the mechanical engineering,machinery manufacturing,biological and other fields of the Tribology.Many scholars have done a lot of researches on the phenomenon of sliding friction,especially for metal sliding friction problems.Because there are many factors that affect the process of metal sliding friction,in this paper we focuses on the main factors that affect the friction process.Considering the different surface roughness,load and speed of metal under the premise of orthogonal test,to explore the impact of significant degree of interaction between the three factors and the various factors on the friction coefficient.In this paper,we use brass,cast iron and aluminum,the friction test was carried out on the MMW-1A vertical universal friction and wear tester.So we get the friction coefficient and the analysis of variance results.The results show that the degree of influence of the three factors on the friction coefficient is different,and when the material is different,the order of the influence is also different.When material is brass and cast iron,the influence of load and velocity on the friction coefficient is larger than the surface roughness;when material is aluminum,the influence of load on the friction coefficient is greater than the speed and the surface roughness.According to the results of the test,we use Ansys software to establish the thrust friction model,and the simulation analysis was carried out.The contact surface distribution of contact stress is analyzed from static and dynamic aspects.The results show that the pressure distribution of the contact interface is uniform under the static condition,the axial distribution of the stress is symmetrical and the intermediate stress is small and the edge is large;when sliding,the contact stress field changes greatly in both the state and the value,the distribution is not uniform,and the stress value gradually increases along the sliding direction.The finite element method can be used to simulate the idea of the contact interface friction process,and it can more visually see the force and stress state of the thrust ring friction pair,so as to better understand the tribological principle of the contact surface.The change in the coefficient of friction has an indirect effect on the extreme value of the stress. |
