The burning of fossil fuels is a great driving force for social progress,but it also causes a lot of pollutants,including nitrogen oxides(NO_x).In recent years,with the development of our country's economy and society,the demand for electricity is increasing year by year.As a large coal consumer,China's coal consumption for electricity accounts for about 50% of the country's total coal consumption,which makes the emissions of nitrogen oxides grow proportionally with the increase in power consumption.According to the Research Report on the control technology of nitrogen oxide emission from thermal power plant in China,which was given by the China Environment Protection Industry Association Organization,the total amount of NO_x emissions from thermal power plants in 2007 has increased to 840 million tons,increasing by nearly 40.6% than in 2003,and accounting for 35~40% of the total amount of the nitrogen oxide emissions all over the country.Forecast from the experts shows that with the acceleration of the development of national economy,population growth and urbanization,China's nitrogen oxide emissions will continue to grow,and will reach 30 million tons in 2020,if not controlled,which brings a huge threat to the atmospheric environment.In summary,the emission of nitrogen oxides harms the environment seriously.With the improvement of people's awareness of environment protection,the pollution problem has attracted more and more attention of the society.In order to improve the quality of atmospheric environment,it is necessary to control the emission of NO_x.Therefore,it is of great engineering and practical significance to study the denitration system in power plant.According to the National Standards of Air Pollutant Emission for Thermal Power Plant(GB13223-2011),the NO_x emission concentration of two 330 MW units in Haibowan power plant shall be controlled within 100mg/Nm~3 by flue gas denitration measures,and two transformation projects have been completed before the end of December 2013 and April 2014 respectively.As a state-owned power enterprise,whether it is in response to higher requirements,fulfilling the responsibility to society,or from the perspective of sustainable development of enterprises,the flue gas denitration renovation project of Haibowan Power Plant's two units is necessary,even is imminent.However,there is a wide variety of denitration process,so the selection of suitable technique scheme is important.This thesis introduces the boiler operation status,fuel standards and equipment upgrades of a 330 MW unit in Haibowan Power Plant,reviews the flue gas denitration reconstruction scheme and analyses its denitrating results,so as to provide a reference for similar engineerings in the future.
