As major air pollutants, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides have attracted attention widely in China. In this case, the effective technology becomes more and more important. Therefore, it is significant to investigate the charactristics and effects of different control processes. In this study, the combined technology of selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology and organic flue gas comprehensive control technology (OCT) technology were selected to analyze its removal efficiency and environmental impact. The design method, equipment system and operating parameters were shown and the results between before and after this technology apllied were compared. Results suggested the outlet sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides concentrations were 12.59mg/m3 and 55.79mg/m3, and their removal efficiencies could reach 95% and 75%. Meanwhile, the dust emission concentration was 22.78mg/m3. All three air pollutants meet the corresponding environmental standard, which indicated the effectiveness of this technology. One evaluation method was used to identify comprehensive environmental benefit in the study. The reults showed that the combined technology of SNCR/SCR and OCT could have good environmental protection value and social benefits.
