In the age of big data,people are overwhelmed with massive knowledge.Most of the knowledge in our brain is from vision,which is a fast channel to capture information,thus the improvement of reading experience has been the core pursuit in the field of information in the future.Nevertheless,the process of propellant formulation conceptual design is similar to black-box operation,hence making the transparency and interpretability of the information in the process of propellant formulation conceptual design perform as indispensable support for the users to cognize the rationality of obtained results.However,currently the process of propellant formulation design mostly has been traditionally represented by text whiteboard recording,which is simplex and relatively boring,leading to a series of problems,such as cognitive burden,reading fatigue,lack of ability to understand intuitively,disadvantage of the dissemination and innovation of the knowledge of propellant formulation conceptual design.Based on the theory of visual symbols,this article mainly researches on visual representation of the knowledge of propellant formulation conceptual design to enhance the visual experience of propellant formulation design.The main research works are below:(1)Discusses the theoretical characterization tools and their functional structures of the visual representation in the process of propellant formulation conceptual design,problem solving principles,measures,carriers and other related knowledge(hereinafter referred to as the knowledge of the propellant formulation conceptual design)(2)Research on knowledge classification in propellant formulation conceptual design.Based on the knowledge classification method in the field of knowledge engineering,from the perspective of cognitive psychology,the knowledge of the propellant formulation conceptual design is divided into descriptive knowledge and procedural knowledge.(3)Research on knowledge visualization strategy and the visual representation form for each type of the knowledge of the propellant formulation conceptual design,to lay the theoretical foundation of the theory and algorithm for the knowledge visualization system of the propellant formulation conceptual design.(4)The design and implementation of the visual representation system of the propellant formulation conceptual design:the system mainly adopts the visual representation framework based on the visual symbol theory,combined with ontology domain knowledge reasoning mechanism and knowledge mapping algorithm,and the system has achieved a good visual representation effect.Through the research on the visual representation in the process of propellant formulation conceptual design and system realization,vividly the system shows the process of propellant formulation conceptual design,enhancing the users' visual experiences and the fun of formulation designing,avoiding the boring formulation design process and monotonous text description,thus removing some cognitive load and reading fatigue for users.Therefore,it promotes the dissemination and innovation of the knowledge of the propellant formulation conceptual design.
