Research Of Product Design Knowledge Representation Based On Ontology

The knowledge in the complex products conceptual design, especially innovation knowledge solving the conflicts and contradictions, is still a problem that not well done.Ontology is a very effective way of knowledge representation and acquisition, however,the current ontology has no ability to express the innovation in conflict description and solution. There is no application in the innovative design aspects of conception design.Based on the "The research on extension ontology supporting the product conceptual design ", which is a branch of my supervisor’s project “Research on the key issues of intelligent harmony CACD system based on complex products conceptual design extension ontology ”. Learn the ways of extension methods and propose a method of expressing the knowledge in the complex products conceptual design,especially the innovation in conflict description and solution, and build an extension ontology(Note: in aircraft domain), which expand and improve ontology’s ability of expressing the knowledge in the complex products conceptual design. The main research and innovation are as follows.Propose and define the concept of extension ontology with the supervisor. In order to enrich and expand the relationship in the ontology, combined with current ontology research and extenics theory, the concept of extension ontology was proposed and formalized defined. It put a theoretical foundation for building the domain ontology. It is proved that the extension ontology facing complex products conceptual design can outreach the connotation and application field of existing ontology. The principles of contradiction conflict attribute parameters are given and the solution to the problem of Constructing Ontology for conceptual process provides the powerful reference.Put forward a method of comprehensive constructing ontology field. Reference the method of seven-steps in the ontology engineering, and the Thesaurus. A comprehensive domain ontology building methods was put forward. It partly realized the representation of concepts of the extension ontology.Ontology query and reasoning. Enrich the concepts, attributes and their multiple relationships by editing some reasoning rules. Verify the built ontology can be effectively reason whether or not. This laid a well foundation for the ontology’sexpansion and reuse.
