Study On Residential Landscape Design Based On LID

City modernization has great impact on the city hydrology and the residential area occupying the largest part of urban area,its stormwater management also exerts significant influence on the city hydrology.The LID technology and its related researches abroad have developed a lot,however applying the LID technology in the landscape of residential area in China is still in the initial stage.Therefore,this thesis,based on the current traits of the residential area in our country,uses the LID technology to recycle the rainwater in the residential area with artistry,landscape diversity and visibility simultaneously.This thesis,on the basis of theoretical researches on LID,from the aspect of landscape architecture,integrates the LID space with residential landscape design,and the main results are as follow:Firstly,define the correct meaning of LID and put forward the basic concept of LID landscape design in residential area.In accordance with stormwater management,water sensitive city,ecological landscape design and garden aesthetic theory,this thesis discusses the specific method of the integration of residential landscape design and LID by integrating two foreign cases in America and Germany and two domestic cases in Changsha city and Changde city.Secondly,the specific design method,on the basis of residential landscape constitution and function,integrates available types of LID in residential area and enumerates four typical types of plane and vertical design methods on LID landscape design,which are Green Roof,Rainwater Garden,permeable pavement and grass swale.Thirdly,through the five elements in residential area,which are terrain,building and structure,pavement as well as plant and waterscape,this thesis further studies the landscaping approaches of each element of LID space in detail.Fourthly,further analyze the design points of the integration of LID space and residential landscape,which include the good interaction of people and residential LID space from the aspects of participation,artistry,interest,education and ornamental value.Then,the sustainable researches also have been analyzed.Lastly,taking the residential area named Yunding Xigu in Zhuzhou city as the example,this thesis applies the theoretical researches into practice.On the basis of the analysis on the natural condition in Zhuzhou city,this thesis discusses the landscape design in this residential area integrally and detailedly,with attempt to realize the meaning of LID to the residential landscape.This thesis,based on current researches of LID space design,from the aspect of landscape architecture,studies the design of residential LID space on local condition,for the purpose of promoting and referring the reduction of runoff in residential area,the recycling of rain and water-saving consciousness of residents.
