| The rapid development of cities exerts great influence on the urban storm water management system,and the extreme weather caused by climate changes gives a severe challenge to urban storm water management.The major concern of the city infrastructure construction is to improve the level of urban stormwater management,reduce urban stormwater runoff and alleviate urban waterlogging.The mode of the storm water drainage in residential area,which possesses the largest part of urban land,has a great impact on the construction and development of urban storm water system.Through the literature review on theoretical researches and classic cases of Low Impact Development(LID)in the world,this study applied the LID technics to the programme of Dormitory Building Reconstruction and Landscape Design of Provincial Communist Youth League in Jinan,Shandong Province,and attemped to solve the waterlogging problem in residence area and explored the reconstruct design methods of old residential area in cities under the notion of “Sponge City”.By using the LID technics,the simulated annual stormwater runoff control rate of testing site was up to 85%,which indicated that LID technics have significant effect on stormwater control and water logging control in urban residential area.Major conclusions of this study were as follows:(1)In order to source control,residential area is key node for urban storm water management.Based on the results of this study,while conducting urban residential area reconstruction,landscape design should be comprehensively considering the topographic conditions structure of pipeline routes,local conditions,and conducting by splitting of which programme into different sub-objects,in order to recycle the water resources of research area.(2)When reconstructing urban residential areas LID technics,it is necessary to combine LID technics with the space functions of residential areas,that is to say,to simultaneously improve the level of stormwater management and standard of landscape design.(3)Landscape reconstruction of residential area should emphasis the concept of “people oriented”,that the whole residential area can form a functionally complete system and people can interact with the landscape through spatial modification and functionally integration.(4)For residential area renovation project,it is also important to ensure the maintainance cost at a relatively reasonable level,in order to maintain the long-standing functionality of the stormwater management system. |
