As one of main wharf structures,sheet pile wharf is widely used in coastal and inland areas.China is located in the east of Eurasia plate and also located in between the Pacific seismic belt and the Eurasian seismic belt that make China become a country that has more earthquakes.So both in academic and engineering,it is of great significance and value that carries out dynamic response analysis of sheet pile wharf under the seismic action.This paper carries out seismic response analysis and research of sheet pile wharf that considers soil and structure dynamic interaction effect,in order to get some meaningful conclusions and provide a beneficial reference for seismic design of wharf.The main contents are abstracted as follow:1.The earthquake response finite difference model of the sheet pile wharf has been established based on FLAC.Analyze Dynamic response rules of sheet pile wharf under the different peak of ground acceleration and compare the m method and advise ignoring reduction to sheet pile maximum bending moment of m method.2.The effects of various factors on dynamic response analysis of the sheet pile wharf,such as embedded depth of sheet pile,anchorage length,tie length,cohesive force and internal friction angle of build-in layer and bearing layer,are analyzed.The sensitivity influence of parameters on the structural internal force and displacement are analyzed and effective measures to improve the structural stability are put forward.Finally get that the effect of internal friction angle of build-in layer on the structural internal force and deflection is most sensitive,it is the most effective measure to reduce the internal force and deformation of wharf structures that choosing the soil which has the bigger internal friction angle as the built-in layer of structures.3.The foundation soil is divided into four conditions: silty-fine sand exists only in build-in layer,silty-fine sand exists only in bearing layer,silty-fine sand exists in all foundation layer,no silty-fine sand exist in the foundation layer.The liquefaction of soil layer on the dynamic response of sheet pile wharf is analyzed.The excess pore water pressure of soil,internal force and displacement variation rules of structure under the various conditions are studied.The possible failure modes of wharf under different conditions are discussed.Point out that the liquefaction of soil can pose a big threat to the safety of wharf and should be caused enough attention in the practical engineering.
