Suspended monorail vehicle is a new type of urban rail vehicle,bogie frame as the main bearing part of it,the strength,stiffness and fatigue life are widely concerned.In this context,combined with the strength research results of domestic and international,reference to the bogie strength test standards,this paper to achieve the strength,stiffness and fatigue life research of Suspended monorail vehicle through finite element simulation and fatigue life prediction simulation method.Based on the structure and operating characteristics of the bogie of Suspended monorail vehicle in this paper,the load calculation method and load cases of the static strength and fatigue strength of the monorail bogie frame are determined by the bogie strength test standard UIC615-4 and EN13749.To calculate the static strength,fatigue strength and modal analysis by the finite element analysis software ANSYS,and the static strength was evaluated based on von Mises stress.According to the UIC510-5 standard,the multi-axial stress of the calculated results under the fatigue load condition is transformed into the uniaxial stress,and the fatigue strength of the bogie frame is evaluated by the modified Goodman curve.Finally,based on the S-N curve of the material,combined with the quasi-static stress analysis of the fatigue load cases,the fatigue life analysis of bogie frame was done by the nCode DesignLife software.The focus and conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.According to structural and force characteristics of the bogie of suspended monorail vehicle,referring to the relevant strength standard,the loads calculation method and the load cases of the bogie frame are determined.To determine the reasonable boundary conditions and establish an accurate finite element model.2.The results of static strength calculation and modal calculation show that the bogie frame of suspended monorail vehicle has good static and stiffness properties.3.In this paper,the fatigue strength of the bogie frame is evaluated by the fatigue limit method of infinite life,and the fatigue life of the frame is estimated by S-N fatigue life prediction method.Combined with the analysis results of the two methods,the fatigue strength weakness of the bogie frame can be fined,which is significance to the further improvement of the bogie frame structure.
