With the rapid development of international sea trade,the issue of ship's safety has become the focus of attention.Steering gear is an important part of the ship,the stand or fall of performance of its control system is directly related to the security and reliability of the ship when it is sailing in the water.If a failure occurs in the steering control process,it will lead to unstable manipulation.What's the worse,it will cause environmental pollution and casualties.So the steering system should form a closed loop system with rudder simulation device and have a joint-test on land before it is put into use,in order to eliminate the early failure of equipment and components,make sure the system coherent and reliable,and operate safely.The design of monitoring system of rudder simulation device in this paper,it is designed according to the demand of the actual ship steering equipment.It is used for the related education and improving the cognition of mariner,shipyard and testing department about the network of rudder monitoring system.And it is also used to monitor the system state of electric hydraulic steering gear and autopilot when they are in the system integration test,in order that interface error,unreasonable parameters,mismatch condition of design and other problems can be found and excluded.It provides a good guarantee for the safety of ship steering control on the sea.In this paper,firstly,introducing the component and working principles of the eletro-hydraulic steering gear.Then it analyses the system function requirement of the monitoring system,makes system designing plans and describes the working principles and working condition of the system.The second,it describes the core of the control system in detail.The control center is configured by the basic modules and its extension units of programmable logic controller.It is divided into hardware part and software part.It briefly introduces the structure of hardware and detailed explains the distribution of interfaces.And it emphasizes on software design,the structured programming of system task makes the system more clear and stable.Next,it describes the design of human machine interface and WinCC monitoring center in detail.They are used for the center of control and the monitoring room monitoring the status of hydraulic steering gear system.They have some monitoring interfaces,fully function,standard layout and beautiful design.Finally,it describes the network communication of the control system in detail.The control center communicates with the human machine interface and the monitoring center by industrial-ethernet.It has many advantages,such as strong anti-interference,fast communication and so on.It provides the guarantee for the data security transmission of the system.From the above,this design,the monitoring system of rudder simulation device was simulated through the software.The results show that the monitoring system has comprehensive function,stable performance and humanized monitoring interface,and it is also convenient to expand,transplant and maintain.So it is of great significance for the relevant theoretical research and practical application.
