With the rapid development of society and economy,complex buildings are becoming more and more frequently in the world.However,most of the buildings have the characteristics of light weight,high height,low damping and large flexibility,which is one of the main control loads in the design of structures.However,there is no clear regulation on the wind load value of such buildings,and it is difficult to find a similar study for reference.In this paper,the numerical simulation method is used to study the distribution of wind pressure on the main torch tower of Beijing Olympic games;(1)The local model of the Beijing Olympic torch tower and the National Stadium "bird's nest" by using CATIA software,combined with the wind tunnel test results,ANSYS-FLUENT17.0 platform for the selection of the computational domain,mesh,turbulence model and solution algorithm are discussed based on the effectiveness of the simulation method is correct and verify the numerical calculation model and get the basic parameters setting method,numerical simulation;(2)Simulation research results of basic parameters by using CFD numerical,discuss the influence of wind speed,wind direction of the Beijing Olympic torch tower,the wind load distribution,get the Olympic torch tower surface pressure contours,velocity vector distribution,turbulent kinetic energy distribution and wind field trace etc..The results show that the wind speed has nothing to do with the surface pressure distribution of the structure,and it is found that the wind load coefficient is larger at 0 degrees,180 degrees and 225 degrees;(3)The simulation method in the entrance boundary load flow and the atmospheric boundary layer flow of two flow form by using CFD numerical comparison of the pressure distribution,velocity distribution and turbulent kinetic energy distribution,analysis of structure stress difference and applicability evaluation of wind tunnel test results.
