In order to alleviate the increasingly serious air traffic congestion, the development and use of the ADS-B system was carried out. Through the airborne navigation equipment in the ADS-B system, we obtain the flight message data sent by the aircraft in a certain data message format and the data received by the ground station, and then transfer to the air traffic control center through the limited or wireless transmission network on ground station to display the track and to monitor the aircraft. However, in the process of sending, transmitting and receiving the track message, the interference of the surrounding environment cannot be avoided, some of the data will be lost or the error will occur, which will cause the ADS-B track to produce unavoidable deviation.For the airplane surveillance, the most intuitive part is to display the track and its important information, so the development of track display system is also very important.In view of the above problems, this thesis has carried on the following research on ADS-B track processing and display system:First, the ADS-B monitoring technology is described, including ADS-B technical principle, ADS-B system composition, ADS-B data link and message format and ADS-B track processing flow.Secondly, the trajectory filtering algorithm is analyzed and studied. After the establishment of the system motion model, the noise of different intensity is added, and the classical Kalman filter algorithm and the Kalman filter algorithm based on the"current" statistical model are used to simulate the motion state of the aircraft. From the simulation comparison, the two algorithms do not meet the requirements of track filter.After analyzing the defects of the two algorithms, an improved algorithm is proposed,and the improved algorithm is simulated by Matlab. At the same time we get a conclusion that the improved algorithm achieves the track filter requirements by comparing with the first two algorithm.Then, the reliability of the filtered data is analysised and researched. Through the evaluation criteria and algorithm, the data reliability is simulated by Matlab, which shows that the data reliability after the filtering of the improved algorithm is optimal.Finally, the track data after filtering and reliability evaluation is displayed. With the MapX digital map as the background, TMSComm control for the serial communication,and WinPcap software to capture ADS-B track messages, the track display system use the multi-thread to response the track update and interface operations. In strict accordance with the requirements of software development, the data structure and function module of the track display software are designed to achieve the goals that it can conduct real-time monitoring of itself and other aircraft and manage or operate the track information at the same time.
