The core of foundation design is sedimentation control.Generally,bearing capacity could meet the requirements but the settlment is too large in actual project.Therefore,a large number of scholars and engineers have studied the field of settlement control and put forward a new design method of pile controlled by settlement.This method takes settlment control as index,and make sure the number of piles and pile length according to the relationship between number of piles and their settlement.This method could take full advantage of the bearing capacity of between soil and piles in design,In this paper,through the method of field test and numerical analysis,the pile length,the distribution of shaft,pile spacing,the nature of soil between piles and the deformation characteristics of pile foundation are deeply studied.The main research contents are as follows:1?Through the field comparison test,similarities and differences of the bearing capacity,the stress state of the pile,the load sharing ratio of pile and soil,and the settlement and deformation characteristics between the pile foundation(3d)and the large spacing pile foundation(6d)are obtained.2?Through the numerical simulation method,the internal force variation of pile foundation(6d)is analyzed.3?The influence of pile number,pile length,pile distance and base pressure on settlement control pile foundation is analyzed by field test data and numerical simulation.The design principle of settlement control is put forward.Through the experimental research and numerical simulation above,the following main results are obtained:1?The concept and principle of optimal pile length and optimal pile length are put forward.It should be comprehensive considered that the geological conditions,the load condition and the structure formin design.And the optimal pile spacing and pile length are 6d and more than 2 times of the base width are adopted,respectively.2?The important role of pile body axial force distribution in settlement control design is proposed.The compression of the pile and the compression of the foundation soil below the pile end are related to the decay rate of the axial force of the pile.The faster the pile body force decays,the little the pile is compressed.3?Improve the current foundation settlement control method.
