In recent years,with the development of wind power,the characteristics of randomness of wind power and the difficulty to forecast the output power of wind farms accurately affect the grid voltage stability greatly.On the one hand,the traditional reactive power optimization strategy does not consider the difference of terminal voltage among the wind farm machine.The voltage adaptability is poor;On the other hand,most wind farms are located in remote areas which connected with the end of power grid.The voltage stability margin of wind farm is reduced and the system may be on the verge of instability,which is not conducive to safe and reliable operation of the power grid.For reactive voltage optimization problem of wind farm,this paper introduces the project overview of Hui Teng Xi Le wind farm,analyzing the reason and harm of voltage deviation among wind farm.Based on the reactive power optimization research of wind farm both at home and abroad,a reactive power optimization strategy is put forward for Hui Teng Xi Le wind farm.The main research content are as follows:(1)This paper analyses the reactive power optimization research status of wind farm both at home and abroad firstly.Then,we introduce the project overview of Hui Teng Xi Le wind farm and analyze the necessity of the reactive power optimization for wind farm.(2)This paper introduces the basic working principle and the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of SVC's reactive power output,and analyzes the ability of reactive power adjustment of DFIG.Besides,the reactive power optimization indexes and the reactive power optimization mathematical model are put forward.Lastly,we introduce different kinds of optimization algorithm,and mainly introduce the application of particle swarm optimization algorithm.(3)Wind farm reactive power optimization program is written based on matlab14.0.With Hui Teng Xi Le wind farm as the object of the research,the simulation of wind power fluctuations and typical operating conditions is analyzed,and comparison of before and after the optimization of wind farm is analyzed,verify the optimization results of optimization strategy.
