Underground pipeline information is an important basic geographic information, and it is one of the important contents of digital city construction. It has the characteristics of unity, accuracy, integrity and foundation, and is the basis of urban planning and construction work; it is the data support of urban emergency work, and it bears the functions of information transmission, energy transmission, drainage, flood control and waste disposal. This dissertation combined the practice of author in underground pipeline detection since and presided over the detection project, detection method of all kinds of underground pipelines in the city underground pipeline survey work in the research,combining the survey in the engineering case, summed up the detection process of pipeline detection in engineering and improve the precision and accuracy of the pipeline detection experience. It can provide reference and reference for the smooth implementation of similar projects, and avoid the lack of detection methods and experience to bring about losses to the construction of the project and inconvenience to the urban residents.The main contents and research results are as follows:1, Described briefly the history and current situation of Beijing city of the underground pipeline investigation, cleared the significance of this topic and the research content, and stated the necessity and importance of the large Beijing city of the pipeline survey work.2, Introduced the process and method of pipeline detection project, descriped of the required standards and requirements; and described briefly that for Beijing city to carry out pipeline survey exploration project is different from other city requirements.Combining pipeline based census information engineering of Beijing city with Changping District, researched detection methods of all kinds of underground pipelines,summarized the detection methods suitable for different types of underground pipelines,pipeline to improve the accuracy and reliability of detection.3, The application and demand of Beijing pipeline survey results are analyzed,and the possible special needs are studied and discussed prospectively. Analyzed and studied the content and quality of the results of the census data of Beijing city have been completed, investigated the hidden danger in the process of using that may due to the data acquisition method and technique,put forward the corresponding solutions.4,Summed up a set of technical methods and processes suitable for large city underground pipeline survey work, to improve the quality and efficiency of pipeline engineering detection, to provide guidance and reference for other city underground pipeline survey work.
