Collaboration with high trust among participants is of great importance in the integrated project delivery(IPD).However, there exist collaborative risks, like opportunistic behavior, conflict of interest, lack of expertise and competence and poor decision. Moreover, the risks will ever evolve under the impact of different factors. Therefore, this thesis analyzes the sources and influencing factors of different dimensions of collaborative risks on the basis of literature review. Then, the hypotheses of the impacts of different factors on the collaborative risks are built. Also, this thesis explores the relationships between different influencing factors of the collaborative risks. All the hypotheses of impacts and relationships are tested through Structural Equation Modeling according to the collected data of the collaborative risks and the influencing factors. The findings reveal that trust and control can effectively reduce the collaborative risks, and trust can improve the effectiveness of control.Additionally, social control can promote the trust among different participants;however, behavior control and output control go the opposite way.Furthermore, this thesis adopts System Dynamics to analyze the evolution of the collaborative risks in IPD projects.Firstly, the corresponding causality diagrams of different dimensions of the collaborative risks are proposed;then, the system dynamical model of the collaborative risks is constructed based on the analysis of the collaborative risks and the influencing factors. Finally, this thesis simulates the evolution of the collaborative risks, and tests the effectiveness and analyzes the sensitivity of the dynamical model. The results show that the collaborative risks in IPD projects grow up in the early phase of the duration and then drop down slowly. Also, the change of combined factors can have a more significant impact than the change of single factor on the evolution of collaborative risks. Finally, this thesis proposes the theoretical framework of the relational governance for the collaborative risks in IPD projects on the basis of literature review, and the simulation results about the effectiveness of the relational governance for the collaborative risks in the dynamical model of the collaborative risks' evolution. This thesis could reveal the mechanism of the collaborative risks' evolution in IPD projects and provide support and good practice guide for solving the problems associated with collaborative risks.
