| In recent years,a large number of casualties have been caused by the crowd phenomenon.This paper reviewed the predecessors’ research achievements of numerical simulation and real experiments.It explored the irrational escape experiment of the crowded mice in different exit locations and different exit forms.Before the formal experiment,90 female mice were trained to be familiar with the exit location.The width of the exit was fixed at 2cm.The use of a certain number of joss stick(96)as the driving force of mice evacuation,the mice produced irrational emotions.In this paper,The exit was located at five places respectively,i.e.,at the center of the wall,adjacent to the side wall,2cm away from the side wall,10cm away from the side wall and 20cm away from the side wall.According to the high-density crowded experiment in different exit forms,four scenarios were studied.Scenario I was the benchmarking study with conventional exit.In scenario II,a funnel shape exit was adopted.In Scenario III,an obstacle was placed in front of the conventional exit.In scenario IV,an obstacle was placed in front of the funnel-shape exit.In this paper,the crowded phenomenon characteristics in the evacuation process were systematically studied.We used the average evacuation speed,time interval,timeline,the cumulative time interval probability analysis,combined with significant difference,error line,burstsize value,Time-lapse complementary cumulative probability curve and Power-law to reveal the laws of different evacuation scenarios.And the main results are as follows:(1)The experiments showed that the escape time was around 373s at the center exit,while it was reduced to 266s when the exit was removed close to the side wall.The escape time was reduced by around 40%.Exit location has significant influence on evacuation efficiency.(2)When the exit was set at 2cm away from the side wall,the escape time was reduced to 229s,around 60%reduction comparing with the scenario 1.The exit location had a significant influence on the evacuation efficiency in the irrational crowded evacuation.It is so far the best location we’ve discovered.(3)In highly dense and irrational crowded evacuation,the evacuation efficiency among funnel-shaped exit is higher than the general exit.The experiments showed that the average escape time was around 316s in general exit test while it was reduced to 248s in funnel-shaped exit test,the escape time was reduced by around 22%.(4)In highly dense and irrational crowded evacuation,the exit has cylinder obstacle in the middle of exit lane has a lower efficiency than the general exit without obstacle.The escape time was increased to 393 s when the obstacle was set at 4cm away from the exit,around 24%increase compared with the conventional exit.(5)In highly dense and irrational crowded evacuation,the escape time was 208s when the obstacle was set at 4cm away from the funnel-shaped exit,around 39%reduction compared with the conventional exit and 19%reduction compared with the funnel-shaped exit.The experiment illustrated that the configuration of exit has a significant impact on the efficiency of escape. |
