Flexible assembly line(FAS)can greatly improve the production efficiency and product quality.Practice company decided to develop a FAS for ‘high voltage vacuum circuit breaker' in YiHe Electric Co.Ltd.The author is responsible for the design and implementation of information system of this FAS.Considering the requirements of complex environment of industrial production field and the high reliability of information system,CAN and LoRa technologies are used to construct the network system of FAS.This information system is composed of three modules including working station submodule,RGV(rail guided vehicle)control submodule and gateway submodule.The working station status is responsible for monitoring the status of the workstation and is connected to the gateway submodule through the CAN bus.RGV control submodule,which is connected to gateway submodule through LoRa,is responsible for collecting the RGV's status and controlling the motion.The gateway submodule is connected with the server through Ethernet and accomplish the translation of CAN and LoRa network.This paper mainly describes the design and implementation of the fusion of CAN and LoRa network and the main work list as following:1.According to the modular design principle,three submodules were designed respectively.The CAN bus network was implemented using the microcontroller PIC18F25K80.The RGV control submodule was designed using dsPIC30F6010 A and sx1278 to implement the motion control and LoRa transmission.Based on PIC32MX795F512 L,DP83848I and sx1278,the gateway was designed to communicate with server.2.In the software design,the hardware drivers and applications of CAN,LoRa and Ethernet were designed.In CAN bus network,custom frame format for the application layer was designed and the mechanism of master-slave communication and event trigger were also developed.In LoRa network,the hardware driver of sx1278,the data link layer protocol and application layer protocol were developed to solve the problem of data transmission in peer-to-peer network.In gateway submodule,the hardware driver of Ethernet and the migration of TCP/IP protocol stack were implemented.Then,based on the conversion protocol,the communication between LoRa,CAN and Ethernet accomplished.3.Finally,the information system including CAN,LoRa and Ethernet was tested.The test results show that three types of network can communicate with each other and the entire system works well.
