Practice And Research On River Waterfront Landscape Design Under The Concept Of "Sponge City"

The process of social urbanization is still ongoing.Nowadays,more and more people choose to live in the city,the number of urban population has exceeded the number of rural population.It is because of the increase in urban population,the urban ecological environment has gradually been polluted and destroyed,urban residents increasingly eager to have an ecological,natural,open living space.However,this is not a new phenomenon,although the development of industrialization of the world economy to a new situation,but to the survival of human environment caused a considerable degree of pollution and destruction.For example,the rapid development of infrastructure in the city did not take into account the situation,a rainy day road will be a lot of water,roads,ground due to excessive groundwater extraction caused by collapse and other phenomena,this series of problems to the residents of the life caused great inconvenience Disturbed,let the city residents live in dire straits.In order to improve and gradually solve these urban problems,eco-landscape experts put forward the concept of "sponge city",and in the new urban construction process will be the concept of sponge into the actual landscape project design.Through practice and research in a certain area has achieved good results.Sponge city concept in the construction of most of the measures are very comprehensive landscape design.While the rivers and lakes are the main structural framework of the whole city of the sponge,,the river,the lake system in series with urban areas,buildings,green spaces,roads and other systems to form a complete sponge city.In recent years,with the water pollution problems intensified,most of the city has also strengthened the river water pollution control and river ecological transformation,to strengthen the ecological design of the riverside landscape to improve the stability of the entire riverfront ecosystem and urban residents quality of life.The introduction of sponge city concept and applied to urban riverfront landscape design is a new urban construction and development needs,to a large extent to achieve rainwater management and the storage and utilization of water resources,and can purify a variety of pollutants in water.So that the ecological ecology of the river back to nature,but also brought the city waterfront area and even the whole city of new life.This paper briefly introduces the background of sponge city concept and the application of sponge city concept in the design of waterfront landscape in the new era.Through some case studies,it summarizes its riverfront landscape design method and main points,and then through concrete project example-Fuyang City Linquan County Fengquan River Riverside Park landscape design to reflect today’ssponge city concept in the design of the riverside landscape.The paper also introduces the design of the"corpus" in the landscape of Fengquan Riverside Park,which includes the design of coral sponge with road design,square pavement material,pond wetland,sunken green space and green belt landscape.This paper can provide a useful reference for the sponge design of urban riverbank park landscape.
