With the increasing concern of traffic safety,the importance of traffic conflict technology has become increasingly prominent.Traffic conflict technology is widely used in evaluation of road network traffic safety because of quantitative research on the road safety situation.The existing traffic conflict discriminative model are spatial distance model,time distance model,energy discriminative model,acceleration discriminative model and conflict field discriminative model.However,these models are mostly described as the macroscopic behavior of mixed traffic,and do not fully consider the movement and psychological characteristics,which cannot describe the mixed traffic conflict at intersections.Thus,this paper focused on the vehicle conflict field model based on the pedestrian psychological safety distance.The specific work is summarized as follows.Firstly,the model of vehicle conflict without considering the pedestrian characteristics was established by researching the trajectory of the conflict object.Secondly,The psychological safety distance of pedestrians is influenced by pedestrian's own state,vehicle situation and external natural environment.So the questionnaires were prepared and 170 pedestrians in different areas were investigated.Then,according to the 4590 data obtained by the survey,the influence of different factors on pedestrian psychological safety distance was studied by using the optimal scale classification regression method and the threshold of pedestrian psychological safety distance.Finally,a model of critical conflict zone based on pedestrian psychological safety distance is proposed,and the parameters in the mixed conflict model are analyzed.Based on the mixed traffic conflict model proposed in this paper,a total of 30 cases were verified at 4 intersections.It is demonstrated that the comprehensive accuracy rate of the model is 76.7%,which can meet the traffic safety evaluation needs of the intersections.
