With the rapid development of economy and the society,material conditions and living conditions continue to improve,people's living requirements and use of buildings are also constantly improving.For outer structures or partitions,people are no longer satisfied with the old traditions,people want to enjoy the beauty of buildings outside the room easily,gradually glass,this material goes into the people's world.Because the glass has a good permeability,the sunlight can be easily absorbed into the room through the glass so that people can enjoy the outdoor scenery very well,and the indoor and outdoor scenery of the building can be folded together.Point supported glass curtain wall is a good development in recent decades.At the end of the post industrial era,the glass curtain wall industry gradually developed.Monolayer cable net glass curtain wall has been widely used due to its superior characteristics in recent decades.With the features of transparent and bright,simple and spacious as well as excellent lighting performance,Glass curtain wall is capable to organically combine Indoor and outdoor environment.In addition,Monolayer cable net glass curtain wall also meet the functional requirements of the outer envelope structure,and people indoors can enjoy the outdoor scenery at the same time.The old building will be reinforced due to the popularity of concept in energy-saving construction.The glass curtain wall shall be checked for repair and reinforcement after a period time of service.However,the study of monolayer cable net glass curtain wall is not adequate.An experimental study of a 6m × 4m monolayer cable net glass curtain wall was performed in this paper.The experiment is divided into two parts: static test and modal analysis.First of all,the response of the structure under wind load under different damage conditions was studied.Secondly,the modal analysis of the structure under different damage conditions was also carried out.In the end,whether the monolayer cable net glass curtain wall could still meet the normal functional requirements when its deflection exceeded 1/50 of the span of the wall under the wind load was studied as well.Finite element analysis of monolayer cable net glass curtain wall by ANSYS was carried out on the basis of the test.The response of cable curtain wall under different conditions under wind load was analyzed and modal analysis of the structure was performed by ANSYS.Findings from other studies were summarized and compared to the conclusionof this test.Finite element analysis of the large-span prestressed cable net glass curtain wall of commercial building of Baoshang Bank Limited was performed by ANSYS.Moreover,variable parameter analysis of the large-span prestressed cable net glass curtain wall of commercial building of Baoshang Bank Limited was performed by ANSYS.By comparing the stiffness of the cable net glass curtain wall with glass on it and the stiffness of the cable net glass curtain wall without glass on it,the influence of the glass on the stiffness of the curtain wall is analyzed.By comparing the stiffness between the cable net glass curtain wall with transverse cable and without transverse cable,the influence of the transverse cable on the stiffness of the curtain wall is analyzed.
