Twenty-first Century is the era of marine economy,as an important part of the marine economic chain,navigation plays an more and more important role in the development of marine economy in the world.The development of the economy can not be separated from the cultivation of talents,the prosperity and development of the navigation come down to the overall quality,knowledge and culture of crew.As a economical,safe and efficient modern training tool for crew,the marine simulator is paid close attention to the International Maritime Organization(IMO),and it has been listed by the STCW Convention as one of the necessary conditions for the training of crew,which will lead to more widely application of the marine simulator training in the education and training of crew in the future,and will also lead to the unified plan and the management of the development and teaching of simulator,so a new generation of marine engine simulator can be concentrated to develop on a higher starting point,and making the maintenance,teaching and function expansion of existing simulators more orderly and efficiently.After the exploration of the marine engine simulator,the traditional data transfer mode of it has been found to be just a data to data model,in this paper,after studying the development trend of simulator,objects have been added to make the system much more fit the actual operating environment.Several marine main engine models have been established by the Visual Studio 2010 software platform under Windows environment,which can achieve the following functions:controlling the speed of diesel engine through the telegraph,displaying the change rules of exhaust temperature of diesel engine,the temperature of cooling water outlet engine and the generator replacement when the speed of diesel engine changes.In this paper,dialog-based MFC has been used to program for interface design of the system,and CAN communication interface between the computer and micro controller has been established,pulse signals,0~5V DC voltage signals,4~20mA DC current signals and the switching signals has been generated based on hardware and software.The simulated sensor signals were collected by the data acquisition system based on CANopen which is the most common application in marine.Finally,experiment show that the system function can meet the requirement of marine main engine simulator’s data transmission.
