The rapid development of simulation training devices caused many domains of making use of simulator to replace the actual equipment with operation training. Simulation training devices is safe, economic, controllable, repeatable, do not be affected by climate and space condition restricts. Simultaneously, the simulation training installment can both train the conventional operation and be able to train every kind of accident processing capacity (including the disaster accident), carrying on the training with the training simulation system has high efficiency and high benefit. Marine Engine Room Simulator, one of the navigation simulator's main study objects in the navigation domain, has played a positive role for the cultivation of our country's marine managers. STCW78/95 Convention made a mandatory requirement for the crew to use Marine Engine Room Simulator for training. Traditionally, Marine Engine Room Simulator training appraisal is a subjective scoring method by coaches. Grades is easily affected by human factors, and is difficulty to appraise operators' operation level objectively. Therefore to develop a Marine Engine Room Simulator Scoring System is necessary.Marine Engine Room Simulator Scoring System developed in this paper adopts the principle of Expert System, applies System Evaluation Theory. As an important component of Marine Engine Room Simulator, it can monitor the student operation, realize results'assessment, analysis and statistics, can understand the students' learning situation, problems and shortcomings. Scoring System for assessing trainers'operation avoides the shortcomings of manual scoring, ensures the assess' objectivity and impartiality, improves the efficiency of the assessment.This thesis mainly includes the following contents:1) Introduced the Expert Evaluation Method, Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation.Established evaluation index and some specific scoring models of Marine Engine Room Simulator Scoring System. Summarized the rate parameters of the system and introduced setting methods.2) Introduced the general structure pattern of Expert System, the knowledge of Marine Engine Room Simulator Scoring System, and knowledge representating methods, searching algorithms, the reasoning machine of Expert System. According to the general structure pattern of the Experts System established the overall structure framework of Marine Engine Room Simulator Scoring System, and designed the structure of the important components such as Knowledge Library, the Dynamic Database, Inference Engine and the parts to explain.3) Designed the overall function of the softwares which is divided into information management module, practical operation appraise module and performance management module. Realized modules function in detail.Analyzed the data management, designed the table structure and field of knowledge library and database. Gave an actual example, and carried on the analysis.
