Design And Implementation Of Smart Home System Based On Arduino And XBee

With the development of economy and progress of social,the comfort requirements of people on home living environment are higher and higher,especially in recent decades,computer network technology,electronic technology,semiconductor technology and the Internet technology progress rapidly,smart home emerges as the time's requirement.Based on depth understanding of smart home market demand,development status,future trends and development problems,fully considering smart home related techniques,combined with laboratory conditions and designer's ability to solve the problem of the current market smart home equipment expensive,hard to use,the development of standards,high power consumption and lack of reliability and safety,and so on.In this paper,designed a complete set of smart home system based on Arduino and XBee.Arduino platform and Yeelnik platform adopted in this system are open source platform,greatly reduced system cost,the open source platform will be contacted by more and more people,the maintenance of smart home system will be more convenient in the future.Based on ZigBee,XBee wireless module had a character of low power consumption,A lot of attention has been paid to consider the character of low power consumption of each device in the process of design,XBee wireless module has a convenient,stable and safe features in the networking;the battery management module not only greatly increases the reliability and safety of smart home system,at the same time,usage method of smart home system is simplified,so that smart home is simple and easy to understand.Adopt W5100 chip which through test in a variety of environments in various fields for many years and with good compatibility as smart home system network connection chip,not only to ensure reliability and compatibility of the entire system,but also to expand the scope of application of the system.Modules interrelated in the system make home life more simple and comfortable,users enjoy the most suitable home environment unconsciously.
