With China's economy and society have developed rapidly in recent years,people have put forward higher requirements for the comfort and interactivity of the home environment.The smart home market has become increasingly popular.The integration of smart homes and advanced technologies,such as wireless communication,artificial intelligence and big data were developed and made a breakthrough,have become more and more significant for the guiding role of technological progress.At the same time,the challenge of smart home is the status that products are expensive,system power consumption is large,reliability and safety are not sufficient.The companies have their own different standards.A low-cost,low-power smart home system has been designed after fully investigating the market demand and future trends.The smart home system based on ZigBee and Wi-Fi realized the function to monitoring of indoor and outdoor environments such as current weather,air quality,indoor temperature and humidity,indoor lighting conditions,fire conditions,leakage and others environmental information.Realized the remote operation of air conditioning,windows and doors working safely and reliable.To reduce costs,two free system development platforms were selected including the Arduino IoT Platform and the Yeelnik Data Cloud Platform.The low power consumption of ZigBee wireless transmission was used to control the power consumption of the system.At the same time,Wi-Fi was used to access the Internet at high-speed nodes to increase the overall transmission speed.Each node in the system adopt a dynamic time interval working mode to extend the sleep time and strictly control the energy consumption of the non-full-load working state.The power switching circuit and battery automatic charging circuit reduces the possibility of the system crashing due to a power failure,improves the system's reliability.Internet communication adopts W5100 chip as adapter to achievingremote monitoring network communication securely and reliable with its reliable function and good compatibility.The system achieves the low-power,low-cost,safe and reliable design goals while completing the basic functions of smart home services.The concepts of power management design and dynamic time interval monitoring scheme proposed in this paper can complete predetermined functions during system testing.It's effectively control the system power consumption,multi-system cooperation work such as better compatibility of monitoring and controlling system makes it more reasonable,and can provides users with a better interactive experience and home environment that more fitting to their own living habits.
