| The 61 representative urban roads(a total of 68 road segments)in Qingshan District of Baotou were studied in this paper.5 aspects of plants were investigated on greening cross-section,species composition and quantity,species diversity,landscape configuration model and ornamental characteristics.Mathematical statistic method was applied to analyze the present problems and give solutions.At the same time,the result of investigation was also applied to concrete practice in order to provide some reference for the future greening upgrade.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Greening cross-section layout includes one plate and two green-belt,two plates and three green-belt,three plates and four green-belt,four plates and five green-belt and special form.Among them,one plate and two green-belt form is the most widely used while four plates and five green-belt form is the least.2.There are 21 families,36 genera and 55 species road greening plants.The main street planting in the road was arbor,such as Sophora japonica Linn.and Populus alba L.var.pyramidalis.and Populus simonii Carr.The main central separation green-belt was shrub,especially Syringa oblata Lindl.and Prunus triloba Lindl.The main separation green-belt on both sides was Sophora japonica Linn.and the hedge of Ligustrum obtusifolium Sieb.And the species of roadside green-belt whose application volume is the biggest are the richest.3.The average value in species richness of arbor and shrub is 2.791 and 3.909,Simpson index is 0.225 and 0.361,Shannon-wiener index is 0.415 and 0.704 and Pielou index is 0.333 and 0.504,whose figures are all lower.The result of the diversity testing index has big differences among different kinds of road,that is trunk road>secondary trunk road>branch.4.Models of landscape configuration in investigation road segments are different for different green belts.The model of street planting is simple and the main configuration is monolayer arbor.Central separation green-belt has two models and natural form gives priority.The model of separation green-belt on both sides is flexible for the different models in the same segment.The model of roadside green-belt is no less than 9 kinds,whose configuration is the most complicated.5.The 55 investigation ornamental plants include many ornamental elements,such as flower and foliage.Analysis of chromatic characteristics of plants suggests that colour scheme of flowering plant is the richest.Seasonal change is obvious in spring,summer and autumn while the road landscape is very monotonous in winter.Problems in the current situation:(1)The form of road greening layout is single and the greening quantity is smaller.(2)The species of green plants are not rich enough and its applied proportion is unbalanced.(3)The figure of species richness of arbor and shrub is lower and their diversity has big differences among different kinds of road.(4)The resource distribution of landscape configuration is uneven and lack of local cultural characteristics.Development countermeasures:(1)Improve forms of road greening layout and increase greening quantities reasonably.(2)Increase species of green plants and adjust applied configuration according to current situation.(3)Increase species of arbor and shrub and decrease the differences among different kinds of road.(4)Optimize the resource distribution of landscape configuration and excavate local cultural connotation. |
