With the continuous development of the enhancing comprehensive national influence and city construction,large scale structure is increasingly applied to people's lives,such as commercial real estate,sports venues,airport terminal and large public buildings with beautiful appearance,or other general structure,long length civil and industrial buildings.Although the ultra-long structure is widely used,but there are still many problems in its design,in order to better meet the demand for construction,the study of the concrete temperature stress and the expansion joint spacing is particularly important.The following problems usually exists in the study of temperature stress and the expansion joint spacing: 1.the pure theoretical calculation of expansion joint spacing doesn't fit the engineering practical with simple model and too many assumptions;2.it is difficult to determine the expansion joint spacing of the concrete structure at the early stage of the design,there is no quantitative understanding of the impact of various factors of expansion joint spacing,only by engineering experience or rely on the high cost structure measure to make up in the late.The studies on the temperature stress and the expansion joint spacing of concrete frame structure in this paper are as follows:(1)The environmental temperature difference of the structure in the construction and the use phase is explained in detail,the arithmetic of most unfavorable temperature difference is summarized by the characteristics of shrinkage and creep of concrete.(2)There are many forms of frame structure,but there is no specific types of buildings specially referred to the expansion of the gap in the criterion.The discussion of the overlong frame structure was divided into two kinds of rectangle and circular architectural modeling,and effects of stiffness and structural layout on the temperature stress were analyzed and quantified and providing a reference for the common problems encountered in the design process.(3)The judgment criterion of the expansion joint spacing of concrete structure is established.Taking the reasonable stress of ultra-long structure as the safety evaluation index,and the steel content calculated by software as the economic evaluation index,to predict the stress and the expansion joint spacing of ultra-long structural.The temperature is the key factor that affects the temperature stress the study of the fracture spacing of structure in different temperature zones was carried out,the expansion joints pitch in the different temperature zone was determined by the calculation results of the model,the judgment standard and combined with the spacing in different regions of the climatic factors such as temperature and humidity.(4)The thermal stress calculation and analysis was carried on the actual model of the ultra-long structure-3# building in the E area of Jingzhou aqua product wholesale market.
