With the increasingly serious environmental pollution,along with the depletion of mineral oil,the energy crisis has become increasingly prominent,in many areas,environmentally friendly vegetable oil has replaced mineral oil as a new type of oil.The search for vegetable oils with better lubrication performance and oxidation resistance is a hot research topic in the present study.But so far,there is little research about desert vegetable oil,we choose 4 kinds of desert plants as the research object.To investigate the tribological properties of environmentally friendly vegetable oil(Sea buckthorn oil?jojoba oil?Caragana oil?Aloe oil)as base oil,a reciprocating friction and wear testing machine was employed and environmentally friendly vegetable oil was extracted by supercritical CO2 extraction technique.The tests were done on three kinds of friction pairs,and The worn surfaces of the lower discs were observed and analyzed by optical microscope(LV150N).Thermal stability of 4 kinds of base oils were investigated by using thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA-DSC).Finally,the ANSYS finite element analysis is performed to simulate the movement.The results indicate tha:1.Vegetable oil obtained by CO2 extraction technology;thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA-DSC)analyzed: starting 4 kinds of vegetable oil decomposition temperature is higher,the structure is very stable,will not be destroyed by high temperature,can be used to satisfy the operating requirements of lube oil.2.Seabuckthorn seed oil(SBO),Caragana oil,jojoba oil(JO),aloe oil as base oil of lubricating oil with certain lubrication performance and additives in vegetable oils: modtc,zndtp,and mixed,can effectively improve the friction and wear properties.At the steel / steel friction pair,results showed that Caragana oil has the most outstanding performance of reducing friction and wear.At the steel / copper friction,In Caragana oil and aloe vera,three kinds of additives can greatly reduce the friction coefficient,damping range in more than 40%.In the steel / aluminum friction pairs,the addition of additives had no obvious regularity to the change of base oil's wear resistance.3.On the specimen surface grinding spots analyzed: in the lubrication system of base oil in sea buckthorn oil,antiwear additives can improve the sea buckthorn oil in different degrees;in Caragana lubrication system as base oil,steel / aluminum friction pair,MoDTC and ZnDTP had antagonistic effect,make the the wear scar width and furrow quantity increase;in the lubrication system of base oil with Jojoba,3 kinds of additives on the antiwear properties of steel / copper friction pairs were poor,that jojoba oil is not suitable for steel / copper friction device;in the lubrication system of base oil with aloe oil.The compound additive in steel / steel friction pair has antagonistic effect,antiwear properties decreased,play a role in the rest of the friction pair,the antiwear properties were improved.Through the finite element analysis software ANSYS,the wear volume with the time variation of the simulation,process simulation analysis the wear surface should be the change of stress and strain,and by the formula established wear volume analysis model,prediction results show that the effect is good,have certain directive significance to the production practice.
