With the expansion of grid scale and the influx of new energy such as wind energy and solar energy,the stability of grid voltage is facing greater challenges.As an important source of reactive power,the automatic voltage control system of the thermal power plant is very important in stabilizing the grid voltage Play an increasingly important role.At present,some domestic thermal power plants exist bus voltage regulation deviation into the whole plant reactive power set value is not accurate,unit reactive power controller issued pulse width adjustment time is not suitable for the current working conditions,reactive power control system and excitation control system Incompatibility and other issues,these factors affect the thermal power plant automatic voltage control system operation rate and the pass rate.In order to solve these problems,firstly,the related theory of automatic voltage control system,DCS configuration software(maxDNA)and AVC system configuration logic of thermal power plant are studied,and every key link of control mechanism and actuator is analyzed systematically.Secondly,according to the design features and test data of the automatic voltage control system of Yunnan Huadian Xunjiansi Power Generation Co.,Ltd.,a mathematical model of the single-machine automatic voltage control system is established by combining theoretical derivation and particle swarm identification.The field test data To compare the simulation,verify the accuracy of the model.At last,in order to improve the performance of the control process and improve the control effect,the human-simulated intelligent voltage controller and human-simulated intelligent reactive power are designed by combining the characteristics of the automatic voltage control system.Controller,through the simulation and comparison,verify that two kinds of human intelligent controller combination of control strategies can improve the control effect,to achieve the thermal power plant automatic voltage control system optimization,help to improve the stability of the grid voltage level,for fire the engineering practice of automatic voltage control system in power plant has practical value.
