Currently,research on flood season segmentation and optimaloperation of flood-limiting water levels is important to improve the technical level of the utilization of rainwater resources in reservoir,and which is the same as to promote the development of social economy.Considering the study is multi-objective and fuzzy,this paper takes" Researchon reservoir flood season segmentation and flood-limiting water levels base on multi-objective fuzzy optimization " The main contents and results are as follows:Firstly,the rainstorm days,ten-day average rainfall,ten-day average flood into reservoir and annual maximum flood peak occurrence number are chosen as index to research on flood season segmentation,based on the FisherOptimalSegmentation and CuckooSearch-ProjectPursuit method.Case study results showthat:the flood season of Chengbihe reservoir can be divided into 3 periods:early flood season(April 1st to May 31st),main flood season(June 1 st to August 31 st)and late flood season(September 1 st to October 31 st).Secondly,Frank Copula method is used to build the relationship between segmentation design floodfrequency and flood control standard,and segmentation design floodpatternis obtained that can meet the flood control standards.Results show that:comparing to the annual maximum flood peak,the design flood peakof each segmentation for 1000-year return periodincreased-27.60%,7.20%and-31.30%,While-31.27%,2.79%and-34.40%for10000-year return period.Then,segmentation flood control range of flood-limiting water levelis determined according to the segmentation design flood hydrograph,using the flood routing principle,combined with the reservoir flood control dispatching rules.Results show that:185.00?187.60m in early flood season,184.84m inmain flood seasonand 185.00?187.70m in late flood season.Finally,through the identification of risk and benefit factors,six main objectives are selected to set up a multi-objective optimization system,which are includedthe reservoir risk rate,the upstream inundation loss,the downstream flood intensity,the increment of power generation benefit,the increment of the industrial water supply benefit and the increment of the domestic water supply benefit.The multi-objective fuzzy optimizationis applied to determine the optimal flood-limiting water levels.Result show that:the optimal flood-limiting water level is 185.90m in the late flood season forflood control safety and engineeringbeneficialpurpose.The research shows that the flood-limiting water levels of flood segmentation of Chengbihe reservoir proposed should be adjusted to:185.00m in early flood season(April 1st to May 31st),184.84m in main flood season(June 1st to August 31st)and 185.90m in late flood season(September 1st to October 31st).
