With the rapid development of high-speed railway,the control mode of the braking system has been developed toward the electric-air compound braking mode.Therefore,how to distribute the electric braking force and air braking force faster and more effectively will be closely related to the braking performance and operational safety of the EMU.If the physical model is built according to the EMU's braking system and then the braking system is studied in the lab,it will save more manpower and material resources.In this paper,the overall design of the EMU's air braking plantform is carried out,that is,the air braking system is set up in the laboratory.Owing to the limitation of time and capacity,electric braking is simulated mainly by controlling the frequency of the frequency converter to control the speed of the pulling motor.However,air braking test-bed reproduces the braking system in the lab by means of hardware construction and software cooperation,which is more convenient to research braking system of EMU and carry out the relevant test analysis for the brake control device.The hardware part of EMU's air braking plantform is mainly composed of six parts: air source system,brake control system,simulated load system,simulated bogie,simulated driver's desk and measurement and control system.The paper respectively introduces the principle,composition and function of the hardware components,and also illustrates the airway schematic and circuit schematic of the plantform.With regard to the software part of the EMU's air plantform,the paper specifies the following test functions,including common braking performance test,emergency braking performance test,parking brake performance test,standby brake performance test and anti-skid performance test.In addition,the software can collect the relevant data,and draw the curve graph of braking force demand,train speed,electric braking force,trailer's air braking force,EMU's air braking force and so on.Finally,EMU's air braking plantform is debugged.Then,the curve graph of common braking and emergency braking are given with the vehicle speed starting from 250km/h,and the related analysis is carried out.
