In order to promote nationwide popularization and application of underground granaries,we must solve the problems in waterproofing of the underground granaries wall.However,the traditional waterproofing process of underground engineering often cannot have absolute control in waterproofing and seepage,so it will not be able to meet the requirements of the use of grain storage.We need to explore a kind of new waterproof material and appropriate waterproof construction for the underground granaries.Polypropylene has been widely used because of its excellent physical and mechanical performance,corrosion resistance,nonpollution,simple process and low cost,and it can enhance the waterproof performance of the underground granaries when it is applied to the underground granaries as waterproof board.In this thesis,polypropylene is used as waterproof board inside the underground granary wall and the polypropylene board is anchored with the concrete slab by polypropylene stud.The joint configuration and their loading-carrying capacity is studied.Additionally,by analyzing the joint characteristics and their loading-carrying capacity,engineering application scope and joint detailing regularity are proposed.In this thesis,the research content is as follows:(1)Collect data,and summarize all the current waterproof methods in waterproofing engineering of underground granary and the application situation of polypropylene in engineering.Ascertain the feasibility of polypropylene board as waterproof board applied in underground granary.(2)On the condition that polypropylene board is connected with concrete wall by polypropylene stub,the joint configurations are concluded and designed.(3)Measure the strength of each kind of joint under the action of axial tension by test.Analyze the result of strength test and contrast the characteristics between all joints,and then provide reference for the selection of joints in the practical engineering.(4)Analyze the strength test conprehinsively,and the stress characteristics of joints are put forward.
