Crankshaft is one of the most complicated parts of diesel engine, which works in adverse conditions and suffers various loading. It's the heart of the diesel, we design the structure and the size of the diesel based on its use and demand. The whole machine performance and the operation life are affected by the structure and the size of crankshaft. In consequence, it is very meaningful for gathering design experience and new product development to carry out static and dynamic analysis.This paper uses FEM technology to simulate a V16 type four stroke diesel crankshaft.Firstly, A single throw crankshaft is conducted a static strength analysis in rigid support theory and contact finite element method with finite element theory. In order to conduct a father analysis the influence of each single throw crankshaft, we study the integral crankshaft in finite element method. The cylinder pressure converts to the concentrated force on connecting rod and consider the torque acting on the crankshaft when do the contact analyze.The stress and strain status is researched by simulating the actual stressing status. And conduct the security assessment. Results to the main journal transition fillet safety factor when each cylinder fire.The paper established a multi-rigid-body dynamic of a crankshaft with prototype analysis software Adams based on the multi-body dynamics and analysis the model. We established crank shaft system coupled rigid and flexible model and the hydrodynamic lubrication model. Analysis the different influences between different models by the dynamics and kinematics analysisFinial, In order to compare with the simulate result, with reference to relevant materials.We designed single-throw crankshaft static strength experiment. Design the experiment progress and determine the related laboratory equipment. Design a set of experiment fixture .Simulate experiment way of loading and boundary conditions, calculated the simulation modal. Record specific numerical experiment to measure points with load changes.The stress and strain condition of the static and dynamic and motion and force are got.
