With the development of underwater acoustic engineering, array signal processing technology has been introduced into underwater acoustic engineering gradually, and assists people to explore the mysterious ocean as an important research direction of underwater acoustic engineering. As a typical representative of new type sonar system, the sonar array system improves series of performances compared to a single transducer, such as directivitysensitivity and gain function. It also prepares material conditions for the study of array signal processing technology in the underwater acoustic engineering.The multichannel data acquisition and storage system is designed to meet the pick-up signal recording demand of sonar array. The system takes synchronous acquisition of the 48 elements sonar array's pick-up signal, which is processed by the signal conditioning, and gets the time information of data acquisition point with the help of GPS. The start time of data acquisition is synchronized with integral point time accurately, the equipments can work synchronously to get sound field information of different points in space at the same time. The data acquired and the corresponding time information are packed and stored into storage medium.The main content of the thesis includes the design of system?the design and realization of hardware platform?the design of the corresponding software and so on.The EP2C8Q208 models of FPGA and peripheral-rich dual-core processor OMAPL138 are taken as the main control chip, and on the base the peripheral circuit develops according to the function demand.The system uses 6 pieces of AD chips to complete the 48-channel analog-digital conversion,accomplishes accurate time management with the help of GPS and atomic clock and takes SATA hard disk, whose capacity is 512GB, as storage medium to record the data acquired.Through the coordination work of FPGA and OMAP, the signal information acquired by AD chips is stored into hard disk completely, which meets the system function's demand.At last, test in laboratory and field experiment are taken to verify the system's function parameter and performance. The consequences of the tests show that the multichannel data acquisition and storage system meets each function demand, work steadily and achieves the expected goal.
