Electric bicycle is a weak party in the traffic accident,and electric bicycle's riders are vulnerable in the traffic accident.During the period of 2010-2015,the number of traffic accidents and the number of casualties caused by electric bicycle were increasing year by year,and the situation was getting worse,all circles of society pay more attention to the traffic safety brought by electric bicycle.Therefore,it is particularly important to protect the rider in electric bicycle traffic accident on carrying out the investigation of the electric bicycle accident and analyze the regularity of accident,researching on automobile-electric bicycle collision accident reconstruction and cyclists process dynamic response,and analyzing the factors of affecting the rider injury in the collision process.Not only can provide data support for the protection of the rider in car-electric bicycle collision in writing new car safety evaluation system of C-NCAP,thereby it can improve the design level of rider protection,but also can provide a reference for the traffic control department revised relevant laws and regulations.This paper briefly expounds the situation and method of electric bicycle accident depth investigation,and analyzes the electric bicycle accident data of Chengdu in recent years,it obtains the electric bicycle accident distribution and personnel injury characteristics in Chengdu.In order to studying the reconstruction method of automobile-electric bicycle accident and the factors of affect the rider's injury,firstly,this paper briefly introduces the theory and method of accident reconstruction,and emphatically introduces the PC-Crash multi rigid body software accident reconstruction method.Then,the simulation model of vehicle-electric bicycle collision is established which based on the theory of multi rigid body weight and the typical accident case data,finally,the accuracy of the model and the feasibility of the simulation method are verified by comparing the simulation data with the actual data.This paper analyzes the typical accident cases in Chengdu area based on the multi rigid body dynamics model of vehicle-electric bicycle collision simulation,and obtains the important factors of affect the cyclist's injury.Reconstruction simulation experiment is designed which based on several factors,and discussed the effects of vehicle type,vehicle collision speed,electric bicycle speed and collision type on the head and leg injuries.The results show that the car type,vehicle collision speed and collision type are important factors of affect the rider injury,while the electric bicycle speed effect of damage on the rider has little influence and only on the rider and electric bicycle response process.In the end,the impact of the collision angle and contact position of the vehicle-electric bicycle on the head and lower limbs of rider is discuss in the light of the side impact of the typical vehicle – electric bicycle,The results show that the impact contact position is an important factor affecting the cyclist's injury.The collision angle has little effect on the rider's head injury,and has no obvious influence on the cyclist's lower limb injury.
