Car and electric bicycle accident has become a major type of traffic accident all over the world. This type of traffic accident has high fatality rate and close relationship with people’s travelling. It has been putting great work pressure on related department and threatings people’s life and property security and become the research hot spot in vehicle safety field now. Accident reconstruction is the process of determining what happened to the vehicles and persons involved in all accident and how it happened, using the information available after the accident occurred. It’s an important way to study the active safety and passive safety of car and provide evidences for responsibility confirmation for traffic accident and settlement of claim for car, and so on. Through effective ways to gives full consideration to the uncertainty of the input parameters and gets the interval and probability distribution of results can make the reconstrction more objective and reliability. Therefore, studying on the reconstrction of car and electric bicycle collision accident can provide the actual traffic accident objective and credible reappearance result which has important practical significance.At present, the study of road traffic accident reconstrction about two wheels cars focus on bicycles and motorcycles, and the study which trade electric bicycle as an independent object is less. In the process of reconstruction of road traffic accidents, uncertainty of the input parameters has not been given enough attention. Relative to the complex and changeable accident forms, the reconstruction results of a single determine numerical are too mechanical and lack of convincing.In order to fully and reasonably use all kinds of information related to accident and get accurate reconstruction results of car and electric bicycle collision accident, this paper studied and obtained the reconstrction method of car and electric bicycle collision accident based on PC-Crash.For separating some input parameters which are more important for the result from all of input parameters, the paper uses theoretical analysis, single factor analysis and multifactor experimental design methods to study the sensitivity of the parameters and gets several main sensitive parameters related to car speed of the reconstruction results based on PC-CrashIn order to ensure the uncertainty of input parameters can be introduced to the result of accident recconstrction and get objective and credible results, this paper combinats experimental design method, response surface method, Montecarlo method and puts forward the method of the response surface combined with monte carlo to analysis reconstruction result’s uncertainty. Finally, the rationality and validity of the proposed method was verified through a simple numerical example.Finally, the method of the study is applied to a case of a typical car and electric bicycle collision accident in real case. Combined with practical application, accident reconstrvtion process and steps was introduced in detail. The uncertainty analysis of the car’s speed of the reconstruction results of collision gets the density function and distribution function. The objective and credible reconstrction result verifies the validity of the method we study in this paper.
