China's equipment manufacturing industry is experiencing rapid development and upgrading,which puts forward higher requirements for the machining precision of machine parts.Hole parts,as one of the most common ones,are widely used in the mechanical structures of various types of equipment and undoubtedly have great impacts on the overall performance of the equipment.In this regard,to make a more precise detection on geometric parameters of hole parts is of great significance to ensure the quality of production and improve the accuracy of processing and assembly.At present,there remains many difficulties in the detection of deep hole parts with large length-to-diameter ratio due to the limited working space and the large axial size of the tested parts.Most of the existing measuring methods and equipments are designed for detecting only one single parameter of the tested parts.In this paper,according to the actual measurement requirements,a set of system is designed to detect the geometric parameters of deep hole parts with large length-todiameter ratio.The design of the mechanical structure and the construction of the detecting system are completed.A method for calibrating the measuring unit is presented.Once the tested part is clamped,the system can measure the size of its cross section,and evaluate the roundness and straightness of the hole.
