The medium and low speed maglev rail is different from normal wheel train rail.A detecting device is difficult to detect the maglev rail fleetly and accurately nowadays.So it is necessary to present a rail detecting device that used to the maglev rail which has very special shape(F-type rail)for medium and low speed maglev.The device should has several functions such as data acquisition,data storage,data processing and results output,and it should detect maglev rail fleetly and accurately.Besides,the reference which is got from the detection is supposed to provide data for maglev rail maintenance.During the research,the straightness detection and the rail irregularity detection have been studied deeply.Solutions to the problems and limitations of the straightness and the rail irregularity have been presented.The paper will narrate the research and development from the following points:Based on the analysis of the current detecting technologies of medium and low speed maglev rail,a detecting device which can detect data of F-type rail like mileage,rail gauge,the straightness of magnetic pole surface,the irregularity of magnetic pole surface,rail gap spacing and deviation of rail panel has been designed.The device can also offer the research basis for accurate detecting of rail parameters.There is a problem which called "Using small fetch big" in the recursive computation when using chord measurement method of midpoint to detect rail irregularity.The error value is magnifying during the recurrence.Intermediate point recurrence method is a way to solve this problem,and it can offer an accurate data of rail irregularity.After analyzing current technology of straightness detection for magnetic pole surface,the laser profile sensors have been chosen to do the data acquisition,and minimum zone method is used in computing data.The Law of Large Numbers has been designated as the solution to the limitation of minimum zone method which is difficult to be solved and hard to get precise values.Accurate data can be computed by using probability theory and statistical research ideas and research methods in the detective algorithm.At last,the detecting software which has real time data collection,display,storage,and other functions is designed and exploited.A data filter method for the collected data has been designated by comparing with several filter algorithm It has been proved that the detecting device has the advantages of high efficiency and high precision by comparing the acquisition data of detecting device with traditional manual detective method.
