With the continuous development of economy and society,China's construction of tunnel,bridges,water conservancy projects and underground-mining and other construction projects has grown rapidly.There are many types of drilling and testing in engineering construction,real-time monitoring and correction of the azimuth and tilt angle and other parameters in drilling construction and testing process,can improve the drilling efficiency and the quality of construction and testing.At present,the azimuth measurement methods mainly include GPS,compass,gyro north finder,etc.However,the methods and techniques used in these methods have some deficiencies,such as the low degree of intelligence of the instrument,the inconvenience of large volume,the imperfect driving system and so on.In order to solve these problems,we design a set of real-time measurement system for 3D electronic compass based on Lab VIEW and open source electronic prototype platform(Arduino).The main contents and results are as follows:(1)Two kinds of electronic compass azimuth reading program are developed,Based on the shortcomings of the current instrument intelligence,we choose to use the graphical programming language Lab VIEW software which has the function of high efficiency as the control system.We study other factors that can affect the performance of the system.On these basis,the paper puts forward relevant solutions.After analyzing the performance requirements of the whole measurement and control system,Lab VIEW and Arduino are respectively selected to design the azimuth measurement and control system of reading the signal sent by the computer.So we can realize the control of the stepper motor drive system,as well as the threedimensional electronic compass azimuth control,reading and other program block diagram,and in the Lab VIEW front panel.(2)The hardware of the measurement and control system is integrated.The hardware system including Arduino control board,stepper motor drive system,threedimensional electronic compass DCM250 B,asynchronous transfer standard interface RS232,etc.is designed in this part.Completing the hardware design,the threedimensional electronic compass is equipped on the stepper motor.Intelligent control of three-dimensional electronic compass rotation and display functions are realized utilizing the control function of the Arduino control board Lab VIEW software and thedriving ability of Arduino control board to the stepper motor system,so as to complete the overall design of azimuth measurement and control system.(3)The azimuth measurement and control system is equipped on the acoustic logging instrument and the relevant instrument to realize the real-time measurement and control function.The experimental results show that the intelligent measurement and control system designed in this paper can effectively control the driving of the three dimensional electronic compass,and receive the data of the downhole detection instrument in real time.At last,the data error and compensation method of automatic logging system are studied.In this paper,the application of intelligent azimuth measurement and control system combined with acoustic logging tool is studied.This applied research makes the automatic acoustic logging system has a complete ability of automatic drive and real-time detection of acoustic data and attitude information,and it can intelligently control the rotation of downhole testing instruments at the same time,which has great practical significance and wide application prospect.
