In the metallurgical industry,a large amount of heat radiation was produced in the production process,and the waste heat was directly discharged into the surrounding environment.It not only caused the waste of energy,but also brought environmental pollution and safety issues.Because of thermoelectric power generation technology has advantages of no pollution,simple installation,long service life,stable performance and so on.The radiation heat thermoelectric generation technology and industrial production combination will have great prospects.In this paper,the combination of low temperature heat and thermoelectric power generation technology,a series of experiments and simulations were carried out to study the relationship between thermal radiation and thermoelectric generation efficiency.A set of cold and hot water temperature difference generating device was made by ourselves.The experiment showed that under the certain temperature,temperature difference between the thermoelectric power generation sheet obtained by the higher power supply voltage,current and power will be bigger,and has a linear growth.The experimental system of thermal radiation waste heat thermoelectric conversion was designed,the temperature difference power generation piece and the furnace radiation source for simulating industrial heat radiation,the air cooling device and the water cooling device were selected.Research on the air cooling and water cooling conditions of thermoelectric power generation panel from receiving heat radiation source in different distances and different cooling modes of various cooling degree under the condition of power generation of thermal radiation waste heat thermoelectric conversion experiment system can generate power and related parameters.The results showed that the distance between the heat radiation surface and the heat receiving surface has a great influence on the heat transfer rate.With the decrease of the distance,the power of the thermal radiation waste heat conversion experiment system becomes larger.Compared with the same case,the effect of water cooling is better than air cooling,water cooling temperature difference will be higher than air cooling.The numerical simulation method was used to simulate the temperature distribution in the cooling water system,the heat dissipation and the maximum temperature difference of the temperature difference power generation were analyzed.The results showed that the appropriate increase of the rib spacing is beneficial to the heat dissipation which has an optimal value,andthen increasing the fin spacing will lead to the reduction of heat dissipation area,which is not conducive to heat dissipation and increase the temperature difference.
