Today's society is a society with a rapid economic and cultural development.While China's population is growing rapidly, the total amount of rubbish is also rising,which makes more and more people can not tolerate this dirty,disorderly and poor living environment. The study of the side loading compression type garbage truck is put forward in this situation,the purpose of the study is to facilitate the collection and transportation of living garbage, while avoiding the use of waste in the process of transport may cause "secondary pollution",it has great application value in the real life .Firstly,this paper studies and analyzes some garbage trucks on the market,and design a new type of side-load compressed garbage truck based on their shortcomings and the actual situation. This paper focuses on the analysis and study of the two major executive mechanisms of the side loading garbage truck, namely lifting mechanism and compression device.Secondly,In the mechanical structure,the application of UG NX8.0 for three-dimensional modeling,to ensure the design efficiency and quality,for the lifting mechanism,in addition to the completion of the design and analysis of machinery,application of virtual simulation analysis software ADAMS to carry on the kinematics simulation analysis,to ensure that the lifting mechanism can accomplish the intended movement, and the phenomenon of abnormal movements mutation,arrest do not appear in the whole process of the movement;in addition,the dynamic simulation analysis is carried out,compared with the theoretical calculation,the simulation results show that the simulation results are correct and the rationality and reliability of the lifting mechanism design are further explained.Then,for the compression device,in addition to completing the mechanical design section, aiming at the problems of strength and deformation in the mechanical design process, the static finite element analysis of the compression device is carried out by using ANSYS to ensure the strength and rigidity of the parts when manufactured. ,in addition, the lightweight design of the compression device is realized by changing its material, the lightweight results show that the quality is reduced by 37.7% compared with the previous one, and the economy is also good.Finally,in the aspect of hydraulic transmission,select and calculate the main hydraulic components on the basis of drawing the hydraulic principle diagram.In the research of PLC control system, In order to achieve automatic control, focusing on the hardware part of the design and selection, including the PLC model, the sensor model; And then the software part and the man-machine interface were made a brief introduction,the software part mainly includes the assignment of its PLC address,garbage truck to be carried out by the action of the ladder diagram of the design and programming made a detailed description ,all of the above is done in order to achieve the system automation and intelligence.
