Urban development is a dynamic process,regular,in different historical periods of each different historical events will affect city,affect the development of the city,affect the urban spatial form.Chongqing Wanzhou district is located in the upper Yangtze river region,northeast of Chongqing,in the three gorges reservoir area centre,becoming the center of the reservoir area the city after the three gorges project.Taking Wanzhou district a s the research object,the analysis of the modern urban space shape evolution.In the history of the development of Wanzhou is winding,has experienced various vicissitudes.In 1992 started to build the three gorges project makes the Wanzhou city space,makes the impoundment of the three gorges dam,the part of the old city submerged in the vast Yangtze river,built on the site,rapid development in industry after the zero of Wanzhou district city become the center of the three gorges reservoir area,a modern metropolis.This paper on the planning perspective on the evolution of urban spatial form,interception of Wanzhou district modem time,first by combing since 1912 since the establishment of the republic of China of Wanzhou city space form of evolution,combined with the government functional departments of city planning in the time period,analysis the evolution of Wanzhou district urban spatial form;Again through the various factors affecting the development of the city to find the dynamic mechanism of urban spatial form evolution and influence factors,finally in Wanzhou district facing the outstanding problems in the urban construction rapid development put forward the author’s optimization suggestions and solutions.
