| This article took the knowledge system of Chinese early-modern urban planning as research object,and took its evolution,characteristic,antetype as research content.Based on the urban changes brought by social transformation during early-modern times of China,took the formation and development of Chinese early-modern urban planning,and the spread of Chinese early-modern urban planning knowledge as clues.In the perspective of discipline history,studied the formation of Chinese early-modern urban planning knowledge,and the regular pattern of the development and evolution of the urban planning knowledge system.The knowledge system of Chinese early-modern urban planning is abstracted from the activities of Chinese early-modern urban planning.In combination with the research theory of displine history,it should include concept and terminology,academic research,theory and practice,institution and law,education and academic organization,etc.This article presented theory,practice,institution,law and regulation as historical analysis of the development and evolution of Chinese early-modern urban planning,discussed the development process of urban planning by sorting out key cases,key figures,important laws and regulations,and external influences.Meanwhile,expressed concept and terminology,academic research as the analysis and interpretation of urban planning historical documents.Based on previous research,selected terminologies with the meaning of “urban planning” in early-modern times as keywords,conducted extensive literature research and retrieval,obtained related literatures.Then,through intensive reading,categorizing and analysis,discussed the dissemination of the knowledge of urban planning.Finally,combined with education and academic organizations,explored the evolutionary characteristics and antetypes of the knowledge system of Chinese early-modern urban planning.In early-modern times,Chinese cities had stepped into the process of modernization,and started the process of transformation from traditional cities to modern urbans.Economic cities emerged and established,correspondingly,early-modern urban planning had been produced.It was also the construction process of the urban planning knowledge system,before the formation of the urban planning discipline.In order to explore this complicated historical process,clarified how the knowledge of Chinese early-modern urban planning was formed and what content it contained,this article divided early-modern times into three periods: before 1920 s,the introduction and cognition of western urban construction knowledge;1921-1937,the formation and development of urban planning knowledge;1938-1949,the construction and improvement of urban planning knowledge system.Through research,this article summarized the evolution characteristics of Chinese early-modern urban planning knowledge system,extracted three archetypes of the tradition of Chinese early-modern urban planning,also demonstrated that in earlymodern China,the knowledge system of urban planning had been initially formed.The innovation of the thesis includes three aspects:(1)Research content innovation:combining terminology,theory,practice,institution,law,academic research,etc.,grasped the evolution of the knowledge system of Chinese early-modern urban planning in general,and used the development of Chinese early-modern urban planning and the dissemination of the knowledge of Chinese early-modern urban planning as clues to run through the huge historical narration and analysis,explored its evolutionary characteristics and localization issue.(2)Research perspective innovation: Based on the discipline of Urban and Rural Planning,abstracted modern antetypes and traditions formed in the development of Chinese early-modern urban planning,and demonstrated the development process of the Chinese early-modern urban planning knowledge system in line with the needs of early-modern urban construction.(3)Research viewpoint innovation: Through research,demonstrated that the Chinese early-modern urban planning knowledge system had taken shape,and the urban planning discipline were initially complete. |
